Predictability Determines the Success of Human Capital

The Z-man had a post about human capital and if people are better of today than in the past. He theorizes both yes and no and about genetics playing a part, besides the Pinkerton analysis that the decline of interpersonal violence means we are better off. (I do think Pinkerton makes a good point on that subject.)

My thoughts however diverged in a different direction from his initial post. There’s a key element to human capital that we tend to overlook; predictability. I’ll try to hastily summarize it here and perhaps better think through it for the future.

So why does predictability matter?

The more predictable your local environment, situation, workplace, neighbors, laws, and daily life are in general, the better off you will be. Knowing that your farmland is NOT going to be burned by invaders, makes it far easier and logical to make plans for the future such as planting crops, crop/field rotation, etc.

You know there is less risk. That’s a big deal in terms if you have limited time and resources. Back in the day, alot of people didnt live past 45 and had limited resources. They had to plan their families future with that in mind. You try that all of that without the convenient crutches our modern society offers us today.

For instance, if you know that an invading army isn’t going to burn down your home, you can invest in it and the village/city you live in. That’s definitely a big deal. You might even build furniture, create a sculpture, build roads, walls, etc. The Mongols aren’t coming through to devastate the countryside, so you know you can go for a walk and even trade in the next town. Commerce can commence. Capital can flow.

Our intelligence may be declining, but our capital continues to grow in certain aspects with technology making many daily tasks easier as well as making many aspects of production quicker and easier. (Imagine constructing a building 500 years ago vs now and the difference in the availability of tools.)

This all assumes predictability though. With the decline of social trust – and all the various factors that contribute toward that loss of trust – the world becomes less predictable. Those factors can be everything from “diversity” to the globalist push for open borders to the internet revealing human nature’s apparent weakness for fake news and social media lynch mobs fueled by appealing and exploiting our base emotions such as anger.

Some aspects of predictability aren’t as predictable – pun intended – or at least as flushed out.

Modernity has also reversed predictability in aspects of culture and society. That matters. No one is fiddling on the roof anymore. Divorce, family separation, and children growing up in various different homes is becoming the norm – which it certainly wasn’t just 100 years ago.

Assuming your parents are actually married, which is about 50% likely now, you really dont know if they will stay together – something that was almost assured barely 100 years ago. Apparently that’s now more true of the elites and upper classes instead of the working class and poor who arguably need that marital stability the most.

Men, women, and families knew for the most part what to expect when it came to family stability. That’s no longer the case with part of the blame lying in no fault divorce laws regardless of intention. Some of the unforeseen consequences now result in families where often there is no father to guarantee stability. He can after all be undermined by the numerous other partners the mother may have. (The reverse may happen, but 90% of custody lies with the mothers.)

I’m a bit exhausted by hearing MRA talking points and the rage of MGTOW/Incel types, but unpredictability in cultural and societal assurances that you as the father wont be divorce raped, reduced to seeing your kids every other week, possible child support, etc doesn’t exactly provide incentives for the peter pan video game-playing-man childs we hear about to lay down roots and get busy working full time jobs to help fuel the tax base.

Bottom line is that it’s just another form of unpredictability with consequences for our society we are just starting to understand. To make that unpredictability even worse, a “culture war” adds fuel to it’s wildly spread fires as people start to lose a firm grasp of the social implicit scripts for daily interaction with each other.

What may have been comedic harmless fun in the past may be dug up in your 1980 year book by a twitter lynch mob, cost you your current job, and possibly endanger your ability to pay your mortgage and put food on the table for your family. Even video footage and pictures are now easily manipulated to drive whatever narrative one may wish about a person or an event which manifested in horrid fashion via the #CovingtonGate incident.

That’s just yet another aspect of the current unpredictability which keeps getting more volatile and scary. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great time to be alive and I’d choose today’s unpredictability over that of just a few centuries ago. But today’s challenges are a series of unfortunate events with stacking and cascading unpredictability with consequences for society we should start grappling with – or at the very least and quite ironically attempting to plan and accommodate for. When life gives you lemons, adapt.

Eating a Ham Sandwich Is a Revolutionary Act in the Current Year

George Orwell said that telling the truth in a time of deceit is a revolutionary act.  Of course this quote speaks for itself to us in the Dissident Right and any deviant deplorable with a working knowledge of actual history, but there’s much more to Orwell’s statement then meets our keen eye.   In fact, it’s quite pertinent to our “current year”.

Yes, eating a ham sandwich or foodstuff whether modified like a Frankenfood burger from the villainous Monsanto to the vegan activist barista brewing a cup of supposedly ethically sourced coffee beans picked by child slaves in the war torn Congo.

It really doesn’t take much these days, especially when you can spam social media with the food you just gorged on at Chic Fil A or one of Ben & Jerry’s social conscious ice cream flavors for 8$ meant to impress people on your Facebook feed you think are your friends.

Thinking Aloud: Lying Low and Building The Trenches

A crazed Nazi, Robert Bowers, who used Gab – and apparently Facebook and Twitter finally snapped after obsessing and hating the Jews for years upon end.  “Screw your optics, I’m going in,” is his last post on Gab that is now living on in meme infamy before he shot up a synagogue.

Gab however would suffer further for Bower’s posts and for the posts of all the other apparent “white supremacists/Nazis” who frequent the platform.  It’s hosting service would drop it, GoDaddy would purge it’s domain, and Paypal would refuse to do business with it anymore, and Medium would ban it. Mainstream media  and crybullies from the Washington Compost to the New York Slimes pumped out articles bashing Gab and rejoicing in it’s demise cause “hate speech” – whatever that means anymore.

Lost Cogs In A Global Machine: Thinking About Identity In The Dissident Right

Part 1

The Rotting Stink Clawing Away At Us

Author’s Note: This article will be updated, edited consistently, and possibly republished as I focus my thoughts and ideas as time goes on.  I’m not an intellectual nor an amazing writer. I’m just some guy trying to flush out what plagues our modern existence. Thoughtful genuine critique is welcome.   This long post is divided into two parts with the second focusing on ideas to forge a new mythos and identity.

Something is wrong with modern society. We can feel it in our bones. It chills us like a sinister X- Files conspiracy in which our souls and spirit have been stolen away. We can smell the rot abounding and growing in their absence and we know its more than just the curse of a bizarre post-modernism that’s permeated our modern lives.

The post-Cold War framework we evaluated, measured, and determined our identities no longer holds weight. Useless is the “left vs right” and “liberal vs conservative” paradigms that culture, politics, and even daily life were seen through.  It’s been rendered obsolete by our new digital age and a “new” set of problems festering for decades behind the scenes that have finally surfaced.

Almost everyone regardless of their political affiliations can see that the world around is falling apart.  We are reaping the seeds we’ve sown in the past all the way from the French Enlightenment to the Post-Christian West as our substituted gods have started to crumble.

Who Took Down Davis M.J. Aurini?

For those of you who don’t know, Davis Aurini does a regular Sunday livestream which used to have Luke Ford at the background for video and the occasional Bechtloff jumping on to chat – I think John Steele was on this chat too.  A month or two back they had a fallout over a stream dealing with protestant vs catholic issues and criticism of the Catholic church.

If you glance back in time Aurini from 5 years ago, you’ll notice a libertarian Atheist with some early Neo-Reactionary Monarchist ideas.  Fast forward to the current year and he’s changed quite a bit both in the types of videos he’s put out as well as his life’s direction.  (Hell, he’s a Catholic now.) Instead of triggering the libs, he’s become far more interested in remaining under the radar.

Thinking Aloud: The Information War and Fighting an Enemy With No Rules

Branding.  Easy, understandable, and no-explanation needed labels, terms, and phrases with all the right kinds of connotations regardless of who hears them; a 711 worker, Chase teller, Facebook drone, Amazon warehouse workhorse, lobbyist, journalist, brand influencer, or dog groomer.

One group of people in particular have perfected it’s use: Activist Progressives.  Those of us versed in the “culture war” and wrongthink have an inkling as to what this label means. Most “normies” however won’t. It could mean anything. Not good. Sad.

That right there is our number one problem. Yea, I’m serious. It’s worse than the deplatforming, twitter lynch mobs targeting us, Big Tech monopoly/censorship, and AntiFa beatings endowed upon us.   In fact it’s whats enabled our current beatings and martydom in the internet arena suffered at the hands of the progressive mobs that don’t seem to stoke widespread and obvious condemnation by the masses.

Are The Residents Of A “Shithole” Nation Responsible For It Being A “Shithole?”

Editor’s note: Post was republished with further thoughts and an expansion upon of commentary upon the impact of history and culture on a people.

“Appalachia’s idea of a moderate drinker was the mountain man who limited himself to a single quart [of whiskey] at a sitting, explaining that more ‘might fly to my head’. Other beverages were regarded with contempt.”

Bold title huh?  To some extent the answer is, yes.  Governments ARE us.  Blame can be thrown out for some issues, but it can’t alleviate our responsibility completely in how our nations, provinces, regions, etc form and operate.

Despite Mongolian domination and destruction for 300+ years, China is not a shithole while parts of Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iraq, etc. are.

Why?

Well a people’s culture are actually VERY significant as are the traditions, heritage, language, and attitudes that shape them, their history, and set foundations for their future.  Let’s get down to brass tax.

Do we get the governments we so richly deserve? Are the people of a nation just as responsible for it’s path as it’s government?  These are sobering questions, if not harsh one’s about a people’s morality and culture.  This is the main thrust of the this post.

What Next After “Unbearable Whiteness” is Eliminated?

Editors Note:  I use quotes and italics for “white” and various suffixes of it because it’s hard to know who is “white” and how that’s determined anymore. (Mixed? Italians? White Hispanics who have too much conquistador in them? Arabs? North Africa? What?)

Unbearable “Whiteness” overtook these divers as they rescued Thai children who had been stuck in a cave. Pay no attention to the fact that these kids are safe, but rather to their rescuers who were clearly not burdened enough by their… “whiteness”.     What deplorables!  In fact we should encourage this behavior, but more on that later.

https://twitter.com/OrwellNGoode/status/1017067718053330944

It must be quite the burden.  “Whiteness” here. “Whiteness” there. “Whiteness” everywhere!  What can be done to deal with horrid state of institutional systematic “whiteness” dear advocates of love, harmony, justice? Sometimes I fear that the burden may be too much to overcome.

The term itself isn’t just speaking truth to power.  Lucrative it has become.  Over the last few years more and more woke people – often “white” themselves – drop it as an odd badge of honor. It’s now permeated out of the backwater holes and into the mainstream.

Infiltration of the Dissident Right with fake leaders, shysters, hucksters, and lowlifes.

Everyone wants to be someone important.

Forney with Aurini had a recent stream on Candice Owens and her rise to prominence via “grifting” in Conservative circles.  I will say that I don’t hold quite the antipathy toward Owens as others do and I specifically appreciate her role in helping to confirm what many of us already knew about Zoey Quinn – that she was harassing herself and making a virtue signaling false flag racket with it.

It however brings up an overall trend that’s been happening in the last few years and what I’m going to label as “Dissident Appropriation”.    We saw it with the anti-feminists on YouTube, the Skeptic “community”, various members of the Red Pill communities, and in the Dissident Right in general.

What did we see?

Even in the Dissident Right as well as other associated spheres, you’ll notice there’s a crop of people – often anonymous or semi anonymous – trying to create a name for themselves.  It happened with the manosphere and now it’s happening throughout the Dissident Right at large.

People coming in to make a quick buck and trying to create a product – not a bad thing necessarily – but with little actual ORIGINAL thoughts and ideas. They just rehashed what had been circling in the various spheres from the abstract and intellectual writings of reactionaries to the Red Pill shock jock larger-than-life style bloggers.

Learning the Hard Lessons About Sex and Porn

Regretfully for the last 10 years, I watched plenty of porn which aided in my frequent and fervent masturbation each day. It gave all sorts of bizarre inclination and fetishes. Porn showed me how the bodies banged, loud wails, and how many holes could be stuffed at the same time, but not much else.

Easy access on any device, a quick jerk and release, and I was back to my video games, reading, or anything else I felt like at that moment.  Time was being used efficiently.  After watching some gangbang for the zillionth time, I clearly knew more about getting laid. All was well.  Was I lacking anything?

What was lacking is that I still didn’t know how to approach, talk, or much less make the moves on girls so any of that glorious fun looking sex would come my way.  Touching and stroking would apparently moisten things up if I got to that part where my fingers and lips were welcomed, but I wasn’t sure about the rest.  We saw the penetration, but not how a guy actually got a girl to desire that with him.

Your wife is right there, but this video…

When I finally bust from my virgin cage and began to actually have sex with in-the-flesh girls, I ran into moments where I couldn’t get or stay hard.  Instead of being as ravenous and filled with testosterone like King Kong, I would suddenly be unable to perform – something devastating for both parties involved.  Imagine the excitement of knowing you were gonna get some and the confidence blow when you go limp.

What was happening?

A recent phenomena in secular and Christian circles encourages teenagers and college students to wait till their late 20s to 30s to get married.  One must wait till they are financially stable, out of debt, and raking in the big bucks after finally establishing their career – which will never happen for most of us until we hit our late 30s if we are lucky.

During that time you better abstain from the sex, avoid that porn, and stop thinking about how you really want to be enjoying all that meaningless sex your friends are having while you wear your own kind of chastity belt having kissed dating goodbye.  You avoid that porn as much as possible, but the addiction begins – one that’s affecting many Christian men (and women).  In fact something like a third of visitors to porn sites are now women.

I was a product of this – though my dad encouraged me to get married to alleviate my desires.  Of course, I was picky, selfish, immature, and irresponsible.  I wasn’t looking for a wife just yet, but a “best friend”  and someone who wanted to mate frequently.

Supplementing my technical “virginity” with porn, I held on to that sacred virginity as long as possible so I could claim some moral high-ground. Eventually I said to hell with it and went on my journey of debauchery. I didn’t reject my faith, but I certainly wasn’t going to go to church and bother with guilt.

Perhaps I was lucky to experience the “player burnout” rather quickly and realize that I wanted to find a wife with which to raise a family – and have plenty of sex with of course – and devote my time less to pursuit and more to worthwhile activities.

Game And Beyond

I had to learn game. Friends gave me advice.  The internet gave me stories.  Podcasts, videos, forum boards, and all those misogynist sexist bastards shared the details of what women wanted and turned them on, rather then what they said they wanted.

Embracing my inner confident asshole, I never looked back. My conquests came through, and my confidence rose to levels of those lucky nerds who gets the girl in those vapid and misleading movies. In my nerdy days, those romantic happy endings were in a galaxy far far away of which I lacked access

Those problems I mentioned earlier however didn’t evaporate.  Lurking like a nagging and unscabbed wound, they poked at me.

I recall Davis Aurini mentioned on a stream how men with girlfriends or wives would often jerk off to porn instead of having sex with them. Their natural attraction toward the feminine body which should have given them rock hard boners was being subdued and withered.

These words stuck me, because what he described was exactly what I was doing – even when I hit my “prime”.  I supplemented actual sex with porn, often preferring the porn to any “real” girl. It was easy, took less effort, and was warping my mind and ability to be aroused by a REAL woman.

Guaranteed release, no effort.

When I met my wife, we had intense sexual attraction. Our secretive and risky adventures to have sex would give way for daily and comfortable sweat sessions once we got married. This has never stopped – yes we still have sex every day.

What also never stopped until recently was me using porn on the side.  While me and my wife had watched some together to get ideas, I would often watch it when she wasn’t around.  During her back to back pregnancies, it made her feel worse and worse as her body confidence took massive hits due to the natural weight gain of pregnancy.

In fact, at points I couldn’t get hard without watching porn before I had sex with her. As you can imagine, it made her feel like crap.  Furthermore, I was often only able to oblige her to sex twice a day because my drive had decreased from jerking off to porn during the other parts of the day.

Yes, you did read that right. Sex only twice a day on average instead of more because my wife’s sex drive is that high.  That’s how much she is attracted to me, loves me, and wants me.  I was letting her down.  Her great body that should have been driving me crazy was being ignored for people who meant nothing to me on the web.

Porn even made me lazy.  I wouldn’t do any at home workouts and my “desk job” managed to pack on an additional 30 pounds making me officially overweight for my height.  Still through all of this, my wife strongly desires me.

I’m lucky gentleman.  Yea my game is good as are my looks, but how many men can say the same in a similar situation? My wife is just that loyal and into me.

I could have very well permanently sabotaged my relationship and marriage to get that momentary high from watching and jerking to porn.

My wife deserves more. She deserves all the sex she can get from me, regardless if I’m feeling horny or not.  Porn only lowered my libido. It’s a dangerous drug that’s hard to give up.  Even still, I sometimes feel permanently altered from its affect when me and my wife go at it.

It’s a lesson I will teach my two sons. I encourage all of you to do the same and be careful – even using it as a stimulus for you and your wives.  Avoid it.  Your wife or girlfriend has a body that you should ravish.  Study hers and do exactly that.

Sometimes the old wisdom from those prudish puritan conservatives and I daresay insane raving feminists who disprove of porn for opposite reasons can be correct.  Plenty of studies tell us about the ill effects of porn on men and even on women who have developed addictions.  You just don’t take those effects seriously until it happens to you.
