Yes, that’s me.

A Bit About Me

Father of two sons, husband, intrepid explorer, mountain conqueror, daring swashbuckler… okay maybe  the last three are profound exaggerations.

I’m not an intellectual and my writings probably reflect that. I’m just a normal  guy who still enjoys metal – despite being 29 – trying to enjoy life as much possible.

Life, culture, politics, and history involves some tough conversations. Far too often it’s the insane people talking about controversial subjects instead of the sane ones.  I’d like to lend a hand toward changing that as well as the echo chamber screaming that dominates most internet discourse.

Much of the manosphere and “Red Pill” on the Dissident Right as of late is now oversaturated with men who never got past the anger stage, supposed alphas larger than life doing more laps than Michael Phelps, LARPers who rant about the virtues of white women, and theorists who keep talking about rebuilding western culture, yet never actually do anything.    Some of them in fact actually hate women.

Enough of that.

I’m the same person face-to-face that am I online – only friendlier, genuine, and simply telling people what I see when they ask me.

Brutal honesty is something people find fascinating, because it’s so rare.  We all have to smile for our Facebook statuses after all.  Be hated for who you actually are, not for who people think you might be.

Social media might not stand by you in turbulent times, but if you are my friend, I’ll always have your back.  While I’m there with you,  I do enjoy engaging conversations, strong coffee, fine whiskey, and the occasional nerding out and enjoyment of “heavy music” when I have the free time.  Raising two young boys is a challenge – especially in the diaper stage.

What is Banter Loud & Proud?

Here, I share with you much of the sordid details of my life.  I can’t advocate for us to rebuild our culture if I’m not doing it myself.   Being far from perfection, I’ll tell you what marriage is really like, share some hard learned knowledge, cover current events,  and point you in the direction of wiser men than myself.

Now, I’m no one special. I work a normal job, converse with a lot of different people each day, and come home to my family.   I share my experiences with you as I look to  help fellow men around me find purpose.

When I discovered the “manosphere,” I had little in the way of any success with women.  Utilizing the wisdom of the men I’ve met through it, I found a great wife who I now have two sons with.   Hopefully, I can share what helped me with the rest of you.

I’m not a dating coach or guidance counselor and I don’t sell anything on here.  I just tell it how it is.  The world is broken and in great distress.

Much of what I see angers and disturbs me – often the plight of the men around me.  No one cares about them, but now that I have 2 sons, I not only have to care, but do something to alleviate this.

Instead of putting my head in the sand and enjoying the schadenfreude, I put what skills I have to work in pursuit of building a legacy, identity, and sharing the work of others that are doing everything they can to help us rebuild.

“Cheers to all my sexless, misogynistic, racist, basement dwelling loser friends. May the effervescent orange glow of Cheetos dust highlight our neck beards forever.”

Music That I Enjoy:

Most of the music I listen to still is metal. Here’s some of my favorites to jam to –

I also really still love my metal. I thought I would grow out of it, but I still love it. Hopefully my sons will as well – considering they are going to get a heavy dose of it.  (In this case more hardcore.)

This is more metal though.

  1. Hi Lucas!

Caught you on Roosh’s site and loved your style.

However, I have to say, that site is for losers, and you’re far from one. I’ve managed 24 posts one of which was about men posting thousands of times and yet somehow claim they’re successful! I certainly got an earful from them. I mean, where in hell does one find the time to post multiple thousands of times and claim “international playboy” status? What utter bullshit.

Anyway, you are a true gem; a true man who takes care of his precious young sons and wife.
I wish you nothing but awesome success.

    1. Hi, Michael.

      Thanks for the kinds words.

I credit Roosh’s site with helping me arrive at the stage of life that I’m in. It’s why I’ll always back him, even with my disagreements. As you are aware, there’s plenty of “players” on there. Now plenty on the forum and the site have chosen their particular path in life. Those thousands of posts help others observe the rewards as well as the cons from that kind of lifestyle. (Ultimately, I do believe a long term “player” life style leaves you lonely, without an identity and purpose, and without a family legacy.)

There are drawbacks, as you are aware. You also have to ask yourself if their “success” is the kind of success you actually want for your life. That’s why I and others like A Kings Castle are trying to show that there’s an alternative that men should pursue.

We all have to start somewhere though. The forum has helped me and there’s alot of good advice. There’s good posters on there. You just have to find and follow them.

I’d highly suggest Quintus Curtius’ writings and his site. He used to write for ROK for years. One of those few Renaissance style men left with a mind toward the classics and history and how it applies to us today.

All the best Michael. Let me know if you have an questions. I’m not a sage, but I do what I can.
